Blockages we clear
- Blocked and slow-draining kitchen sinks
- Blocked toilets
- Blocked baths, showers and basins
- Outside drains and gullies
- Waste pipes and soil stacks
Drain cleaning and sewer lines
Recurring blockages usually mean something more than a one-off: a build-up of fat and scale, a dip in the pipe, or root intrusion. We clean drains and repair or replace damaged sections of drain and sewer line.
Keeping drains clear
- Don't pour cooking fat down the sink — let it set and bin it.
- Only flush toilet paper. "Flushable" wipes still block drains.
- Use a strainer in sinks and showers to catch food and hair.

Questions people ask
Is a blocked drain my responsibility or the water company's?
Generally, drains serving only your property are your responsibility; shared drains and sewers beyond your boundary usually belong to the water company. We can tell you which applies when we inspect.
